Eve Adler is a Registered Nurse and received both her Master of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees from New York University. Currently Ms. Adler is the Academic Senate president and a professor in the nursing program, with expertise in pediatrics, at Santa Monica College. Additionally, Ms. Adler works as a clinical nurse at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in the Gonda Diagnostic Observation and Treatment Unit. Ms. Adler has received numerous awards, including the St. John’s Hospital Chair of Excellence for Nursing Grant, with which she established the Global Nursing Project to address issues of global culture and health. Her interests focus on the health challenges, needs, and triumphs of children from difference cultural communities and how nurses can make an impact on the health of children worldwide.
